As far as I am concerned Ghostery is the number one add-on as far as having an extension that prevents third party web sites from tracking you. Having Ghostery makes a big difference. Ghostery in my honest opinion is much better than AVG Do Not Track. I am shocked and amazed as to how many web sites have third party web sites tracking you while visiting that web site. For instance one web site I visited had about 75 third party web sites tracking me according to Ghostery which of course was blocked by Ghostery. I’ve never seen tracking figures that big prior to visiting that web site. There are instances especially with Google Chrome that Ghostery has to be disabled on some web sites in order to view video content but I can live with that. To the makers of Ghostery keep doing what you are doing for you have done an excellent job in creating this extension and it has made a big difference in keeping my email box from being flooded with so much spam and other unsolicited email.
