There’s a brand-spanking new version of Ghostery for Chrome, v2.2.2!
We had some requests for some more control over the purple box – so we added some controls for its duration and position in the options menu.
Also, there was a bug that kept Ghostrank from communicating back with Ghostery homebase, so we’ve fixed that as well. This change is deep enough that Chrome is going to treat this new version of Ghostery like a new install, and likely give you the “are you sure you want to install Ghostery?” message. None of your settings should change – you can go ahead an give it the okay without a worry.

this is great but why is the download still for version 2.2.0? where can we get this new fangled ghostery download? the link directs you to the old version.
