We here at Ghostery are no strangers to customer satisfaction tools. UserVoice and GetSatisfaction are exemplary web products that really make taking care of updates, concerns, and feedback a snap. Ghostery is set to find their widgets, monitor them, and allow our users to disable them if they want. For those of you that are unfamiliar with them, GetSatisfaction’s “feedback tab” widget looks like this:
And UserVoice’s looks like this:
Errr… Well, they look kind of the same. That’s probably because UserVoice and GetSatisfaction are in neck-and-neck competition with each other. We decided to look to the GhostRank numbers (thanks to those of you that opted in!) in order to see which of their widgets was more prevalent across the web:
60-day sample period.
Apparently, GetSatisfaction is winning the customer service widget race… for now. We’ll run another report in a few months and let you know how things are shaping up for them!
Rock on,
Adam

A good description of the differences between the two services

Hi adam,
thanks a lot for the share!
You’re writing, that you’ll do another report in a few months … I’m looking forward to it already.
May I suggest something?
We’re a German startup located in Karlsruhe offering a (SaaS) service to track custom data from within applications (we don’t provide embeddable script code like Google Analytics does, e.g.).
With our service you could track these numbers continuously and be provided a nice looking chart (either PIE-Chart for snapshots or line-Charts to see the development of the percentage share over a long time).
If that sounds interesting to you, we’d be happy to hear from you.
You can contact us any time via eMail or Twitter (@cronimon). On our homepage (http://cronimon.com) you’ll find some examples of what our charts do look like.
Thanks a lot for your awesome ghostery plugin!

Adam, I’d also suggest looking at WebEngage – http://webengage.com. It is a simple customer feedback and short survey solution for websites. Comes in with a lot of useful features for website owners.
Thanks for letting us know, we will be keeping a close eye on this topic.
