Thanks for using Ghostery. You can totally just turn the popup off in Ghostery’s options, and then you will no longer have this problem.

Hi Fred,

Thanks for using Ghostery. Certain content can track you, and when this happens Ghostery blocks it. You can go into the extension’s options by clicking on the Ghosty icon in your toolbar, and then whitelist Facebook.com.

I believe it’s possible to choose NOT to see the pop-up list by going to the Ghostery options page. I choose to see the list but have chosen to see it for a minimal amount of time. Sometimes it’s useful to see what’s on the list because, upon occasion, an item has become unblocked for some unknown reason. Then I can go back to options and block the item.

Hi I installed Ghostery with FireFox as my web browser now I cannot access words with friends on face book what can I do to get that game to show up? I am not that learned on using a computer other than my email and some web browsing Please tell me how I can get back the game so I may play it with my friends.

Thanks for this browser. I want to second the suggestion for adblocking. I know you focus first on tracking, for good reason, but blocking ads too would be awesome. Something akin to the TACO/AdBlock+ combination on full blown browsers

I can’t find an iPad ap that Apple allows in its store that does both… I’d certainly pay for a browser that did both, especially for my kid.

If you don’t want to see the popup, just change the settings of the extension. It’s not brain surgery. Just untick the “show alert bubble” box. Geez.
